Biography
Markus Berger is a postdoctoral researcher and lecturer at the University of Rostock. His research focus are new forms of interaction and visualization for geospatial and BIM data, specifically in immersive and spatial computing environments. He also works on applications of current technologies like AI foundation models for the built environment.

Biography
Ali earned his PhD from Cardiff University, specialising in smart computational engineering and holistic decision-making for the built environment. His doctoral research developed a knowledge-based automatic openBIM data exchange framework for integrated building design. Ali has published in leading journals, including Automation in Construction and Journal of Building Engineering, with research interests spanning openBIM frameworks, Digital Twins, and Large Language Models. Actively involved in developing OpenBIM standards like Industry Foundation Classes (IFC) for immersed tunnels with buildingSMART, Ali also holds certifications in BIM ISO19650 standards, advancing best practices in digital construction and engineering solutions.

Biography
Jiake Yang is a PhD candidate in the Department of Architecture and Civil Engineering of CityuHK. His research interests include augmented reality (AR), human-robot collaboration (HRC), and indoor environment control systems. He aims to achieve real-time and personalized indoor environmental quality control systems in human-robot collaboration situations based on psychological signals.

Biography
Robert Amor received his BSc(Hons) and MSc degrees from Victoria University of Wellington. After receiving his PhD from the University of Auckland he spent five years working at the Centre for Construction IT at the BRE in the UK. He was the Head of Department of Computer Science at the University of Auckland for nine years. Prof Amor’s core research interests are in achieving interoperability and code compliance checking. He is Editor-in-Chief of the Journal of Information Technology in Construction and Coordinator for the CIB commission W78 (IT for Construction).

My name is Jaehyun Hwang, and I am a Ph.D. student at Seoul National University, currently supervised by Professor Seokho Chi. My research has primarily focused on smart construction technologies, particularly sensors and drones. However, I have recently shifted my focus to a broader global perspective, emphasizing international collaborations and decision-making tools. If given the opportunity, I look forward to presenting my work and discussing key aspects of future developments at EG-ICE 2025.

Mr. Han Qian is a Research Associate at the Institute of Concrete Structures at TU Dresden, focusing on advanced computational methods for engineering structures. He specializes in machine learning-driven structural design and optimization. His current work addresses predictive modeling, generative AI, and structural optimization to improve offshore jacket substructures’ design processes. He has contributed to multiple research projects and publications, collaborating with academic and industry partners. He is dedicated to promoting interdisciplinary approaches to engineering structures and sustainable energy, striving to advance data-driven solutions and foster innovation in structural design.

Multi-modal prediction of building energy efficiency using apartment listing data
Biography
Andrew Sonta is a tenure track assistant professor of sustainable civil engineering at EPFL. He directs the ETHOS Lab: Engineering and Technology for Human Oriented Sustainability. ETHOS is an interdisciplinary research group focused on using data-driven and computational tools to create interventions in the built environment that advance our social and environmental sustainability goals. Areas of work include human-building interaction, building energy efficiency, socio-environmental analysis of urban form, and urban energy systems. He obtained his PhD from Stanford University's Sustainable Design and Construction program. He was a postdoctoral fellow at Columbia University's Data Science Institute before arriving at EPFL.
