Biography
Yunping is from University of Birmingham, research area is BIM-aided civil engineering. Her research is dedicated to constructing and refining the workflow of Scan-to-BIM-to-FEM, aiming to enhance the integration of point cloud data with BIM and finite element modelling. Her current research focuses on point cloud completion and 3D reconstruction, encompassing BIM modelling and finite element analysis. Through her work, she strives to develop automated and efficient methodologies for digitalising and analysing civil infrastructure, contributing to the advancement of intelligent construction and structural assessment.

Simulating Stakeholder Collaboration: Generating Synthetic BCF Data with Multi-Agent Systems
Biography
Benedikt Kandler is a Research Assistant and PhD candidate at the Institute for Numerical Methods and Informatics in Civil Engineering at TU Darmstadt. His research focuses on the integration of AI-driven methods into Building Information Modeling (BIM) workflows, particularly leveraging Large Language Models (LLMs) for the automated evaluation and processing of issue documentation such as BIM Collaboration Format (BCF) files.
As part of the DABKO research project, he investigates methods for assessing radiation exposure based on 3D models of activated structures and the simulation of nuclear decommissioning processes.

Towards Semantic Enrichment of IFC Models through Language Modeling
Biography
Dr. Stefan Fuchs is a postdoctoral researcher at the Technical University of Munich, Chair of Computing in Civil and Building Engineering and TUM Georg Nemetschek Institute – AI for the Built World, and a LOC PostDoc scholarship holder. He earned his PhD from the School of Computer Science at the University of Auckland, New Zealand, in 2024. His doctoral research focused on leveraging state-of-the-art neural networks to interpret building regulations, enabling their application in automated compliance checking. In his postdoctoral research at TUM, Stefan is further expanding his expertise in Large Language Models, particularly in the context of Building Information Modelling, with the goal of developing a fully automated compliance checking workflow.

Graph Neural Networks for Structural Engineering: Improving BIM Workflows and IFC Model Exchange
Biography
Toni Nabrotzky studied Civil Engineering from 2016 to 2023. At HTWK Leipzig (University of Applied Sciences) he got his master degree. Since September 2023, he has been pursuing a PhD in Construction Informatics in collaboration with the University of Rostock.
His research focuses on the use of AI methods in structural design for a more efficient model exchange.
