Getting to Glasgow
Glasgow is located in West Central Scotland. It’s the largest city in Scotland and is extremely well served by transport links; two main train stations and three international airports.
For eco-conscious travellers journeying nationally, we encourage taking the train to minimise CO2 emissions.
Arriving from England or Wales? Alight at Glasgow Central Station, just a brief 10-minute walk from the University. Meanwhile, most travellers from within Scotland will find themselves at Glasgow Queen Street Station, a mere 5-minute stroll away.
For international attendees, Glasgow boasts an international airport with convenient transport options to the city centre. Hop aboard the Glasgow Airport Express service, departing every 15 minutes from the airport, and alight at George Square near Queen Street Station. Alternatively Glasgow Prestwick and Edinburgh airports are within an hour's bus or train connection.
